World Pride is upon us, and whilst we believe in supporting pride every day, the season gives us the opportunity to reflect, highlight and celebrate our incredible community.
At TFI, our community of students, staff and lecturers is at the heart of everything we do. For over 12 years, we have opened our doors to students of all walks of life, and believe that college is the perfect place for individuals to spread their wings and express their true selves.
In that vein, we asked our community to tell us what pride means to them.

"LOVE, INDIVIDUALITY and ACCEPTANCE."
Who will you celebrate World Pride with?
"I will be celebrating with my best friends, the people of Sydney at Mardi Gras, and the rest of the world in my heart."
How do you express your Pride?
"I think I express my pride through my attitude, music, art and my outfit, especially on Mardi Gras."

"Love. Equality. Togetherness."

"I will be celebrating world pride with my family, friends, and the millions of people around the globe!"

"I express my pride by being kind and considerate to others and respecting everyone for who they are."

"In 2023 I’ll be celebrating pride alongside my family and friends, the people who have supported me through my life."
How do you express your Pride?
"Expressing pride is a different experience for everyone, but for me it is through fashion and creativity. With these tools I can showcase how I am feeling and how I want people to know me."

How and who will you celebrate World Pride with?
"I'll be celebrating this weekend with my mates, seeing the parade, and having a G+T at my local in Redfern."
How do you express your Pride?
"I express my pride by letting people be exactly who and what they want, no questions asked."

"I will be celebrating world pride with my beautiful partner and my queer family I have found in my life who support me in everything I do."
How do you express your Pride?
"I express my pride by living my most genuine self everyday, regardless of who it offends or is uncomfortable with it. Queerness is beautiful, and it should never be hidden!"
