The Fashion Institute offers both academic and non academic support services to assist students throughout the duration of their training.

All student resources, including learning materials are included in the course fees.
At the commencement of each semester, students will receive all training support resources including student handbook, unit learner guides, textbooks, assessment outlines and assessment tools.
The learner must have access to a computer, Internet and a printer. If they are unable to access these resources for independent research tasks, they are able to organise alternative arrangements with their trainer and assessor or by emailing email@example.com.
Any additional materials such as stationary are considered additional costs and are at the expense of the learner. Please refer to the List of Additional Fees in the Student Handbook.
At The Fashion Institute we acknowledge our obligation to provide personal training and support services for our students. It is important that all students have access to a range of support mechanisms. We are committed to maintaining the highest level of student support to ensure you not only complete your studies but also benefit from the highest possible increase in your skill level while training with The Fashion Institute.
LANGUAGE, LITERACY AND NUMERACY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates are required to have completed Year 10 or equivalent and be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident before enrolling at The Fashion Institute.
If learners feel they may have any language, literacy or numeracy problems that may inhibit normal participation in training, this must be stated on the enrolment form.
The Fashion Institute will make reasonable adjustments to the delivery and assessment of training to enable participation and LLN support will be available to all learners throughout the duration of training and assessment.
UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER (USI)
From the 1 January 2016 all students enrolled in Nationally Recognised Trianng are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) in order to receive their Qualification or Statement of Attainment. Your USI gives you access to a password protected online record of the training you have done since obtaining a USI as reported by your training organisations. This can be used when applying for a job, seeking a credit transfer or demonstrating pre-requisites when undertaking further training. Please provide The Makeup Institute with your USI on enrolment. RPL AND CREDIT TRANSFER
The Fashion Institute recognises and acknowledges qualifications and Statement of Attainments issued by another registered training organisation based in any state of Australia.
Credit Transfer (CT) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for this program. Application for recognition is considered on an individual basis. Please note that no more than four elective units previously achieved can be counted towards this qualification.
If you hold a qualification of Statement of Attainment with equivalent units issued by another RTO you can apply for National Recognition.
Please indicate if you would like to be considered for Recognition of Prior Learning or Credit Transfer for any or all units of the qualification at the point of enquiry.
NATIONALLY RECOGNISED TRAINING
The Fashion Institute is a Registered Training Organisations (RTO No. 40164), providing Nationally Recognised Training, regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority. This means students have the confidence that they will attain skills of a high quality accepted and recognised everywhere in Australia, not just the state or territory in which the training was delivered.
The Fashion Institute have partnered with Study Loans to provides finance for students seeking assistance in paying for their education.
