2025 Giveaway Competition

Terms & Conditions

2025 The Fashion Institute | The Fashion Institute terms and conditions (Trade Promotion Lottery)

 

By entering the 2025 Whitecliffe | The Fashion Institute competition, you accept the following terms and conditions.

Promoter

​

1. The promoter of the Competition is Whitecliffe Institute of Creative Arts & Technology Pty Ltd (ABN 62 003 925 282), 55 Regent Street, Chippendale NSW 2008.

Competition period

​

2. The Competition will commence on 19 May 2025 at 12.01 am AEDT and close on 4 August 2025 at 11.59 pm AEDT (Competition Period). Any entry submitted outside the Competition Period will be invalid.

Eligibility

​

3. Subject to clause 5, entry in the Competition is open to all residents of Australia who are 16 years old or older at the time of entry (Entrant). Proof of age may be required.

 

4. Entrants who are under 18 years acknowledge and agree that they have the consent of their parents or guardians to enter the Competition.

 

5. Students from the Fashion Institute, as well as their immediate family members, are ineligible to enter the Competition.

How to enter

​

6. Entry into the Competition is free. To enter, Entrants must complete and submit the Competition entry card available from The Fashion Institute or on the competition form. Each Entrant represents and warrants that all details provided with their entry card are true and correct.

 

7. Entrants may enter multiple times.

Prize

 

8. The random prize draw will be drawn at 2.00 pm AEST on Friday, 8 August 2025, at The Fashion Institute campus at 55 Regent Street, Chippendale NSW 2008.

 

9. The first prize winner will be awarded a: 

 

1 x $250 Prezzee gift card to be used at specific retailers listed here.

The second prize draw winner will be awarded a:

 

  • 1 x Complimentary ticket (of the value of $150) to The Fashion Institute Spring Style workshop held in September.

 

10. In the case of the workshop not being held at least one (1) month after its intended date. The prize winner will be contacted and notified, and a substitute prize will be provided at the discretion of The Fashion Institute.

Prize Conditions

​

11. No part of the Prize is transferable or redeemable for cash.

 

12. The Entrant who is randomly drawn as the winner will be announced on The Fashion Institute website at Whitecliffe The Fashion Institute 2025 Giveaway Competition page and will be notified by phone or email using their details provided in their entry card.

 

13. If The Fashion Institute cannot successfully contact the Entrant who was randomly selected as the winner(s) within two (2) weeks of the draw, or such Entrant was ineligible, The Fashion Institute will award the Prize to the next randomly selected Entrants. Such a draw is to be conducted at 2.00 pm AEDT on 18 August 2025 at 55 Regent Street, Chippendale NSW 2008. The Fashion Institute will continue this process until an Entrant has been successfully contacted and has confirmed their eligibility to be awarded a Prize.

 

14. Any decision by The Fashion Institute regarding the selection of the winning Entrant is final and binding.

 

15. Proof of age may be required to verify a winning Entrant’s eligibility (including meeting the minimum age requirement for participation).

Use of social media

​

16. This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or Instagram. Each Entrant releases those entities from any liability in connection with the Competition.

Release and liability

 

17. To the full extent permitted by law, The Fashion Institute excludes all liability arising in connection with this Competition, any entry or the Prize.

 

18. The Fashion Institute is not responsible for any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, incomplete or corrupted entry, whether due to error or otherwise. The Fashion Institute is under no obligation to accept any entry that is not submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

 

19. The Fashion Institute reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify (which may include the provision of a similar prize of equivalent value to the Prize) or suspend the Competition, in which case it will post a notice on this page.

 

20. Without prejudice to any other rights of a party, each Entrant indemnifies The Fashion Institute against any loss, claim or damage arising from the Entrant’s participation or entry in the Competition or winning the Prize.

Privacy

​

21. The Fashion Institute may collect, store and use personal information collected from Entrants in order to conduct the Competition and related purposes, including marketing and promotional purposes.

 

22. The winning Entrant consents to the publication of their name and details, and agrees to participate in future marketing, if required by The Fashion Institute, which may include being interviewed and photographed.

 

23. Personal information is managed by The Fashion Institute in accordance with the privacy policy at The Fashion Institute Privacy Policy.

Any Entrant can contact The Fashion Institute about the personal information held by The Fashion Institute about them.
